The countdown to one of the world’s most anticipated motorsport weekends has officially begun. With just 8 days to go, preparations for the 2025 Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are in full swing at Yas Marina Circuit—and early signs point to a historic edition.
A Global Gathering: Fans From 105 Countries
Last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix welcomed 192,000 fans across four days, but the 2025 event is already on track to surpass that milestone. Fans from 105 different countries are expected to travel to the UAE, reaffirming the event’s position as a global sporting spectacle and a key highlight on the international F1 calendar.
Championship Showdown at Yas Marina
After a dramatic season, the championship fight is heading toward an electrifying finale in Abu Dhabi.
With only 24 points separating Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, and Max Verstappen, and 58 points still up for grabs in the final two rounds, Yas Marina Circuit could crown the 2025 world champion.
The season took another twist after Max Verstappen’s win and McLaren’s double disqualification in Las Vegas. Now, all eyes turn to the UAE for what could be a three-way title decider on one of Formula One’s most iconic circuits.

This year’s edition brings an unmatched entertainment program.
The 2025 Yasalam After-Race Concerts will feature eight international superstars, including
Metallica
Katy Perry

Elyanna
Official after-parties will host performances by Calvin Harris, Idris Elba, and Keinemusik, making race week a complete festival of motorsport and music.
Massive Preparations Behind the Scenes
Across Yas Island, hundreds of specialists and more than 40,000 staff, vendors, and volunteers are working around the clock to prepare the 5.28km circuit, grandstands, fan zones, and hospitality areas.
According to Saif Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara, the event has evolved into the region’s premier mega-event:
“The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the most anticipated weekend on the region’s sporting calendar. The 2025 event promises to be remarkable — with more fans, more racing, more entertainment, and new experiences on and off the track.”
Driving Toward a Sustainable Future
The 2025 Abu Dhabi GP also marks an important step toward its sustainability goals.
The organizers aim to cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieve 100% renewable energy for all events by 2035.
This year, single-use plastics have been removed from Yas Marina Circuit and Etihad Park, replaced with environmentally friendly alternatives. Free hydration points will also be available to encourage reusable water bottle use.
